CLFA Donates $6,000 to CLA

sfLAKEWOOD, N.Y. (October 22, 2013) The Chautauqua Lake Fishing Association (CLFA) recently presented a check for $6,000 to the Chautauqua Lake Association to help with 2013 operational expenses.

“The continued financial support and confidence the CLFA has in the CLA is especially important as we complete another year of serving the residents of Chautauqua County,” said Douglas Conroe, President of the CLA. “We had another great harvesting season on the lake and we would not be able to operate without the support of CLFA and other organizations throughout the region,” he said.

Chautauqua Lake Fishing Association is a privately owned company located in Celeron, NY. They host dinners and special events throughout the year. These events allow them to make generous donations to local organizations such as the Chautauqua Lake Association.

“The CLFA has a mission to keep our lake beautiful. We know how important it is to our way of life in Chautauqua County. The Chautauqua Lake Association has the same mission to save our lake and we value our partnership,” said Mark Damon, President of the CLFA.
