Chautauqua Lake Association crews were able to give their pitchforks a rest during a sunset Summer Wind Cruise donated by Captain Rick Willman. “I have the most respect for what the Chautauqua Lake Association does for our community and I just wanted to show my appreciation,” Willman said. CLA crews enjoyed an evening of food, music and fun with generous donations from area merchants.
CLA General Manager Paul Swanson expressed his appreciation for the crew’s hard work over the summer. “This is for you, for all the hard work you have done this summer, working extra hours and helping us serve the community under a late notice. The lake is in great shape now and we are still out on the lake every day.”
CLA President Chris Yates also expressed his gratitude.“We are so fortunate that the college and high school employees we hire are such hard workers and we are very proud of them. We appreciate the retirees that return every year to drive truck to responsibly haul the weeds away and to dispose of them in an environmentally correct way.”
