(LAKEWOOD, NY) — The Chautauqua Lake Association is actively recruiting team members and sponsors for the Climate Ride cycling event that will be held at Chautauqua Institution on September 16 – 18, 2022.
As an organization that values partnerships with likeminded organizations, the Chautauqua Lake Association is proud to be named as a beneficiary of this climate event designed to inspire advocacy and raise funds for a sustainable future.
The Green Fondo Chautauqua will be an amazing ride for cyclists of all ages and abilities with choice of three scenic route options over two days. For non-riders and travel companions, there will also be a variety of activities on the grounds during the event.
WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE A CLA LAKE RIDER?
The cost to register for this cycling event is $120, which includes meals and planned programs offered by Climate Ride on the grounds of Chautauqua Institution. Each cyclist must also create an individual fundraising page with a minimum sponsorship requirement of $500. Once registered, the CLA will promote the fundraising efforts of all team members leading up to the event.
For those who do not wish to ride, but are still are interested helping our cause, there are also many opportunities throughout the weekend to meet and network with lake-minded citizens from all around the country. The registration fee and sponsor requirements are the same for non-riders.
