Chautauqua Lake Fishing Association Makes Donation to CLA

The CLA is pleased to once again announce its gracious acceptance of a $7,000 donation from the Chautauqua Lake Fishing Association. “We are pleased to again be able to support the CLA. Their essential work keeps Chautauqua Lake flourishing. Their constant efforts support the economy and our mission to better Chautauqua Lake, said Mark Damon, Chautauqua Lake Fishing Association President. “

The Chautauqua Lake Fishing Association has been a devoted supporter of the CLA for over 10 years. They have donated over $50,000 to the Chautauqua Lake Association for annual lake maintenance. The CLA is honored to have such a supportive ally. “The Fishing Association is as enthusiastic about keeping the lake healthy and maintained as is the lake association itself. CLA Executive Director, Doug Conroe, stated. I am extremely pleased that we can continue to work together with the Chautauqua Lake Fishing Association for the good of Chautauqua Lake.”

The CLA’s mission is to provide effective and efficient lake maintenance services for the benefit of all Chautauqua Lake users. As the “Stewards of the Lake,” the CLA serves to promote and facilitate the ongoing scientific monitoring of Chautauqua Lake and its ecosystem. The CLA participates with local, state and federal lake management programs and educates the community about Chautauqua Lake’s ecosystem and environmental lake management practices.
