Past support and participation have helped to make our event an overwhelming success! 24 community teams from local businesses and community groups along with several experienced club teams competed in the 2019 races on Chautauqua Lake. Race participants, co-workers, friends and family shared an enjoyable and entertaining afternoon of friendly competition on Chautauqua Lake.
Last year we expanded our club division (for the more experienced teams) to include a business division. Unfortunately, no companies took advantage of this option, but we believe you are ready for the 20-person races!! That means more friends can paddle, faster races and more bling can be won!! And don’t forget drummer awards will be given for most interactive and best dressed drummers!
The event planning committee would love to have you consider forming a team and joining us for a rewarding and exhilarating experience racing a Dragon Boat on Chautauqua Lake in 2021. Originating in China over 2,000 years ago, today Dragon Boat racing is the fastest growing team water sports in the world. Teams do not require prior experience, equipment & training will be provided. You simply need the desire to participate and enjoy a friendly athletic contest!
We hope to hear from you TODAY if you would like to be a part of the 2021 event. Please contact Heather Nolan-Caskey at 716-763-8602, or Shirley Sanfilippo 716-487-4175, or any of our dedicated committee members for additional information.  Below you will find registration forms and sponsorship opportunities. Paddles Up!
Help ensure that Chautauqua Lake remains the focal point of our community now and into the future!
