On Wednesday, July 19, the Chautauqua Lake Association along with the Chautauqua-Conewango Consortium, a Waterkeeper Affiliate, jointly discussed Chautauqua Lake’s ecological system at the Libraries Love Lakes (LLL) Program hosted by the Lakewood Library. Annual Light The Lake Event Set for July 4 at 10pm On July 4 at 10 p.m., lakefront residents are asked to light their flares in an attempt to outline the entirety of Chautauqua Lake. Flares are $3 each and last for 30 minutes. Official lighting time is 10 p.m., and the proceeds from the flare sale benefit our summer in-lake services.
