CLA OFFICERS

“Chautauqua Lake has always been at the heart of why I love the Chautauqua region. But since joining the CLA board, I’ve also learned that the lake is the economic engine for Chautauqua County. Natural beauty and economic magnetism - two great reasons to love our lake!”

John Ford

PRESIDENT

Don Emhardt

1st VICE PRESIDENT
“I joined the CLA board to better understand Chautauqua Lake’s challenges and to help shape smarter, more effective solutions for its future. During my time overseeing waterfront operations at Chautauqua Institution, I saw firsthand how water quality directly affects the safety, health, and experience of both staff and visitors. Volunteering with CLA allows me to turn that concern into what I hope is meaningful action for the lake and our community.”

Meg Pickard

2nd VICE PRESIDENT
“It has been an honor and a pleasure to be a part of Chautauqua Lake Association in support of maintaining and preserving our lake for generations to come.”

Bruce Michael Pfeil

3rd VICE PRESIDENT
“Chautauqua Lake is a very important natural resource in our County that needs a careful and measured approach in caring for its health. I became involved with the CLA to try to help with this endeavor.”
