Since 2002, the Chautauqua Lake Association (CLA) has partnered with Aquatic Ecologists to monitor the lake’s plants and herbivores. Ongoing studies include plant inventory and density, herbivore monitoring, and other information about the lake ecosystem. These findings are shared with government agencies and partners to support future lake management.
